June 21st

Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day. We learned about the importance of the Summer Solstice. Each school in the CBE was gifted three flags that represent Treaty 7, Metis, and Inuit. Each flag is unique and has different symbolism. Ask me what I learned or noticed about the flag. Over the last few days of school we will continue to learn about Indigenous People.

In Math we learned about different ways to move objects call translations which include:

slides,

turns,

and flips.
