Today we reviewed three different addition strategies to add two digit numbers with sums less than 100. The three were chunking using a hundreds chart, expanded form, and base ten/stacking method. Ask me to show you my favourite.

As part of our exploration about liquids we created some water art. We learned that water droplets can join together. Using eyedroppers we mixed primary colours and created different sized drops on wax paper or tinfoil. Then we took a piece of paper and pressed it on the water to make beautiful works of art!

Today was Pink Shirt Day! We read Stick and Stone and then used the story to brainstorm ways that we can be kind friends. We also designed our own Pink Shirt Day t-shirt.
