March 18th

Today we continued exploring light using centres about light and water, prisms, and different materials.










Here are two examples of number talks that we use to start our math learning.



Today we worked on using a number line to subtract two digit numbers. 


 

Reminders: 

-no school Friday for students due to conferences

-Spring Break March 24-28th

Our Parent/Teacher/Student Learning Conferences will be online on Mar 20 and 21. Conferences will be 15-minutes in length for students in Kindergarten to Grade 5. 

Families will have received an email with instructions for booking conferences. Once open, parents and guardians must book their own conference time through their MyCBE parent account. (Please use a computer or laptop, not a Smart phone to access your MyCBE account if you are having difficulties.) As well, if needed, translators will be available. Once you have booked you will receive an email with a link that you will use to attend the conference.
