Sept. 26th

Today we did some more learning around Orange Shirt Day. We read Stolen Words. Ask me what the story was about.

As a class we brainstormed words about how every child should feel at school. Then we wrote one word on an orange ribbon.

With our buddies we tied the ribbon to the fence to remember all of the children who went to residential schools. At the front the school there is a timeline and story that we looked at with our buddies. They will still be out tonight so you can look with your family. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Open House tonight!

 Reminders:

-no school for students Friday and Monday

-picture day Thursday

-apple orders start today and end Oct.9th
