In Math we started representing numbers using place value. We are starting with two digit numbers and will be moving on to three digit numbers soon. Some vocabulary we reviewed today was tens, ones, value, digit, and represents.
Today was exciting as we learned and reviewed some literacy games to add to our literacy rotations! Ask me which one was my favourite.
Reminders:
The Parent / Teacher / Student Learning Conference booking system will opened to families on today. The system will send you an email letting you know they are open. Families can book a 15-minute slot with the homeroom teacher during the available times. All bookings will be done through your parent MyCBE account at sis.cbe.ab.ca.
Conferences times that you can book your 15-minute slot are as follows:
Thursday, November 27 from 4:30 – 7:45 (for Kindergarten to Grade Five)
Friday, November 28 from 9:15 – 2:00 (for Kindergarten to Grade Five)
How to book:
- Log-in to MyCBE. If you do not have an account, follow the Create a MyCBE Account instructions.
- Click on the My School Conferences icon.
- Click on the time slot that is available and convenient for you. Ensure pop-up windows are allowed.
- In the pop-up window, you will choose your child (you have the option to enter the student's name), the name of the parent / guardian is pre-filled, but can also be changed.
