Dec. 19th

Today we finished up a lot of things before our board game and movie day tomorrow. One of those things was writing about the materials we used to build our furniture and to draw our finished furniture.

Dec. 18th

Today we finished building our furniture. Then we did a four square planner about what we made and the materials we used. Tomorrow we will use our planner to write about our furniture.

Dec. 17th

Today was all about furniture building for our elf. First we had to make a plan and list our materials. Then we built! Take a look!

Dec. 16th

 Today we listened to a story How to Trap an Elf. Then we used maker materials to build an elf trap. We tried to build traps with different materials. Ask me about how I would trap an elf. 

Our kindness elf Sugarcane, brought us a new kindness challenge to write thank you notes for Mrs. Brinson, Mrs. Docherty, Mrs. Mason, and Ms. Tanya. We are becoming experts at writing thank you notes and spreading kindness.

This week we will be building furniture for an elf out of different materials. We have lots of materials already at school, but if you would like students can bring additional materials from home. Students have to be able to cut the material independently. 

Dec. 12th

It was a busy day in Grade 2! We finished our northern lights cards for seniors. They are each so unique.

Today we each chose a number between zero and 100. Then we practiced ordering our numbers from least to greatest and greatest to least.

Today we celebrated the end of SoundKreations by sharing our dance and watching some of our friends. We had so much fun!
